Assignment 1

Okay, so this is another attempt at this blog. I'm not sure why I am having so many problems, I am usually good with this kind of stuff. Okay, so I wanted to discuss some current events and some of my favorite sites. I find it so convenient to be able to go online and find cool stores with different 80's Tees. I just bought a "Save Ferris" t-shirt which I love because Ferris Bueller is one of the funniest movie characters (at least I think so). I don't find myself using the internet other than using IM, checking E-mail, and research for schoolwork. I don't usually use it for entertainment besides talking to people through IM. I thought it was funny when my roommate last year spent hours playing some weird game trying unsuccessfully to shoot some sexual object at certain points, but hey I guess different people like different things.

I am also really intrigued by the new "art" in central park called "The Gates". I myself have not yet been able to see these pieces but have read a substantial amount of articles based on the project. I guess these two artists thought that these poles, with material hanging from the top, were worth 20 million and the tsunami victims were not. I find the whole thing rather stupid. Anyway I thought that all the fuss was pretty ridiculous considering the work could have easily been done by anyone with 20 million bucks handy.

So I hope this works because I have been attempting this assignment many times each time wanting to throw my computer out of my window, you know what? I guess it would be my computer, not the assignment. I like to ease my stress my downloading music off Itunes. There are these celebrity playlists and its fun to see what different music each listen to. I really enjoyed Adam Sandler's playlist and reasons for the songs. I bet you guys would enjoy it too.
